About Our Carbon Fiber

Carbon fiber composites have become one of the most important materials to be adapted for motorcycle racing because of its ultra light weight characteristic. Composites are materials that are combination of two or more organic or inorganic components. One material serves as a “matrix,” which is the material that holds everything together, while the other material serves as reinforcement in the form of carbon fibers embedded in the matrix.

Until us, most players in the motorcycle carbon industry used cheap mixtures, reinforcement materials, and lack the OEM tabs and brackets; polyester material was used for the matrix, cheap carbon fabric was used for the reinforcement, and double-sided tape was used in substitute for the tabs and braces; we use Japanese carbon fabric, an epoxy-dominant exotic resin mix, and we manipulate the OEM tabs and brackets.

Automotive and motorcycle carbon are seldom made with a twill weave. Because the twill surface has a unique and aggressive texture and three-dimensional design; it is easy for this pattern to warp making the lines unsymmetrical. We incorporate a special technique to ensure that our weaves show otherwise.

To make a composite structure, the carbon fabric, is laid out and put into our precise molds of the OEM piece that we are manipulating, and then put under exact pressure and fixed heat. Our composites feature three layers, with the resin in between each layer applied scientifically, while other players use one layer and a weak amount of resin.
